Carditology is a system of orientation within musical improvisation.
It does not replace technique.
It reorganizes perception.
It is based on three interconnected spheres:
Vision — the sphere of harmony and spatial perception.
Soul — the sphere of melodic identity and continuity.
Spirit — the sphere of rhythm, impulse and structural energy.
These spheres are not separate disciplines.
They are modes of awareness that can interact.
Carditology trains musicians to remain oriented
while form is unfolding.
It does not prescribe vocabulary.
It cultivates orientation.
It transforms structure from fixed architecture
into mobile space.
Carditology was developed by Claudio Cardito
through compositional practice, performance,
and long-term pedagogical research.
It continues to evolve as both an artistic
and educational framework.
